If you don't have the merit badge books, you can go to Meritbadge.com and review the requirements. You can purchase the books at the Scout Shop, Sunny's Outdoor Store, or Beacon Outdoor Surplus in Waldorf.

The Troop will be attending Summer Camp at the Blue Ridge Mountain Council Scout Reservation in Hiawasse, VA. Saturday July 5th - Saturday July 12th 2008.

A second week of summer camp at Broadcreek Memorial Scout Reservation is also available. July 27th - August 3. This week will focus on Eagle Required merit badges. (SEE BELOW)

Camp Spencer

Trail of the Eagle Camp - July 29 - Aug. 3 - Camp Spencer

This camping experience will allow a camper to concentrate on the required Eagle Scout merit badges. All of the required badges for the Eagle Badge will be offered during the week-long camping experience. The Council Advancement Committee will help Scouts with a Life-to Eagle orientation. During one evening, a special Eagle service project seminar will be held. This session will help a Scout select a good project, and give him ideas on bringing the project to a successful conclusion
